OASIS & UDISE Data Verification
Update OASIS and UDISE data, ensuring staff strength and student intake match the ERP records.
School Safety & Security Compliance
Constitute and ensure compliance of the School Safety & Security Committee, along with regular safety audits.
Academic Year Opening & Welcome Assembly
Organize a motivational inaugural assembly led by senior students and leadership. Introduce key staff and share the year’s vision with teachers and students.
Class-Wise Timetable Implementation & Audit
Finalize and circulate timetables (including smart class, sports, library, life skills). Review for load balance and co-scholastic integration.
Conduct Diagnostic Assessments via diagnosticassessment.in
Use platform-based quizzes in Week 1 for Classes II–IX to identify learning gaps. Generate automated reports and form remedial groups accordingly.
Syllabus Bifurcation Review
Confirm subject-wise bifurcation is in place (term-wise/monthly). Compare with last year’s pace and CBSE-recommended learning outcomes.
Review of Teachers’ Diaries & Lesson Plans
Ensure teachers use diagnosticassessment.in for NEP-based planning. Check for integration of experiential, competency-based activities.
Staff Orientation & New Teacher Induction
Organize an internal NEP refresher + SOP training. Assign mentors to new staff and review induction checklists by mid-month.
Student Orientation Programs
Hold short orientation sessions for Kindergarten, Class I, Class VI, IX, and XI. Include class rules, subject combinations, use of ERP, and school expectations.
Parent Orientation Sessions
Organize short presentations by principal, coordinators, and key teachers to explain academic plans, expectations, discipline policy, and communication channels.
Textbook & Stationery Distribution Monitoring
Ensure no delays. Follow up with vendors for new admissions and late joins. Confirm issue records are updated.
Bridge Courses/Foundation Program Implementation
Begin weekly bridge classes for foundational support (especially for students from other boards or states).
Attendance Monitoring & Early Absentee Alerts
Begin tracking student attendance trends. Notify parents of irregular attendance within the first 2 weeks of session.
ERP Portal Configuration Check
Ensure all class sections, subjects, new admissions, and teachers are updated. Test parent logins and mobile app.
Admissions Finalization & Data Upload to CBSE Portal
Ensure all admission documentation is complete. Match school ERP and CBSE registration templates for Class IX and XI starters.
Class-Wise Remedial Group Planning
Use diagnostic results + teacher observations to prepare remedial rosters by end of April. Share timetable with students and parents.
School Calendar & Almanac Distribution
Ensure printed/digital almanac is distributed with academic calendar, holidays, PTM dates, assessment schedule, and club periods clearly marked.
House Allotment & Club Memberships Initiated
Assign houses/class mentors. Finalize club lists and conduct orientation sessions to explain student roles and event timelines
Initiate Student Portfolios & Baseline Profiles
Ensure student-wise folders are created for each learner to store evidence of learning. Diagnostic Assessment (DA) results, holistic report cards, and PEN records, in alignment with NEP guidelines.
Conduct First Staff Meeting with SIP Roadmap
Share School Improvement Plan focus areas for the year. Align all academic & co-scholastic planning around NEP priorities.
New Staff Induction Program Review
Check if new staff have completed orientation, read manuals, and are assigned a mentor. Ensure they’ve joined teacher WhatsApp/ERP groups.
Faculty Manual Review / Updates
If recent circulars have changed SOPs, update faculty manual and circulate digital copies. Take e-sign acknowledgments.
Police verification of all staff members
Ensure police verification is completed and documented for all teaching, non-teaching staff, contractual staff, and vendors. Maintain updated records with renewal dates.
